Figs are considered to be the sweetest and one of the oldest fruits recognised by man. Our dried baby Wild Figs are entirely natural, delicate, chewy and almost caramel in taste.
General Information
Though dried fruits look charming, they have a sour flavour and don’t have the sweet fig smell. It means that the fruits used were not ripe enough. But our dried wild baby fig is as sweet as the fresh ones. Only immature dried fruits will have a sour flavour. The sweeter the fruit, the better it is.
Dried baby figs are smaller than black mission figs, with chunky, dry, beige skin. Its sweetness is completed by a little touch of vanilla, nuts, and bourbon. Its interior is almost moist, and the assertive crunch of grains dominates.
- They have a light, sweet fruit flavour with a nice, smooth texture.
- Unsweetened, No added sugar
- All-natural, no added colour

Natural Dried Wild Baby Figs FAQ
Are these raw or are they steamed or heated during processing?
They are raw, in their natural state, certainly not processed, i.e. heated or steamed.
How many figs should I eat a day?
Eating a serving of 2-3 figs can provide 4-6 grams of fiber — almost a quarter of the 25 grams the FDA suggests you eat each day. 2–3 sounds about right. Don’t overdo it.
Can a diabetic eat dried figs?
Despite being relatively high in sugar, they are also considered to be quite safe to be included in a diabetes diet. Bangalore-based nutritionist Dr. Anju Sood explains Figs are tremendously high on fibre and though they are sweet, it is the high fibre content of figs that ensures that all the sugar is not immediately released into the system. But again, that does not mean you have too many of them at a go. For a diabetic, it is imperative to practice moderation. But you should consult your doctor before making changes to your diet, and ask them what they suggest you eat.
Do dried figs need to be refrigerated?
Dried figs should be wrapped so that they do not get hard and can then be stored at a cool room temperature or in the refrigerator. To use fresh figs, wash them and take out the hard portion of the stem at the end.
How do you soften hard dried figs?
Put your dried figs in a small bowl and cover with boiling water. Let it steep for 10 to 15 minutes, and then strain the fruit and discard the water.
Are your figs sulfite free? Do they only contain figs and nothing else added?
We provide only premium figs and natural; nothing added.
