Marinated baby figs are small figs marinated in rum and white wine syrup. A fantastic accompaniment to both sweet and savoury dishes and excellent with cheese, yoghurt, or ice cream.
General Information
Marinated baby figs are delicious miniature figs marinated in a rum and white wine syrup—a fantastic addition to sweet and savoury dishes, delicious with cheese, yoghurt or ice cream. Our baby figs are marinated for hours in our special spiced rum syrup! Serve these with a cheeseboard. The sweetness compliments the rich flavours of cheese and meats.
Another idea is to use them to garnish a cake or even ice cream. The syrup is an excellent topping! It means that the fruits used were not ripe enough. But our marinated wild baby fig is as sweet as the fresh ones.
Baby figs are more petite than black mission figs, with chunky, dry, beige skin. Its sweetness is completed by a touch of vanilla, nuts, and bourbon. Its interior is almost moist, and the assertive crunch of grains dominates.
