General Information
Pistachios are the seeds of the pistachio tree, which belongs to the cashew family. They usually have a one-inch length and a half-inch diameter and are covered by a strong shell. Pistachio kernels are naturally found in a variety of hues, ranging from yellow to green. According to archaeological findings, people have been consuming them for a long time, dating back to 6750 BC. The pistachio tree is said to be native to Asia’s central and western areas.
There are seven categories of green peeled pistachio kernels (GPPK). The density of green in the kernel is used to classify the grades. The more precious the kernels are, the greener they are. It runs from the darkest, S, to the lightest, A, B, C, D, F, and H. (dark green, green, greenish, light green, and yellowish).
The grade of these pistachio kernels is E. This indicates that they are brighter than F and darker than the other grades. They’re simple to use and may be used straight from the pocket or as a decorative piece.
