Spiced Lemon Lime and Bitters

Use our spiced lemon, lime and bitters to make your quintessential Australian summer drinks more festive. This is a refreshing spiced twist, a non-alcoholic summer spritz for your guests of all ages.

  • Highball glass
  • Large heatproof pot
  • fine sieve strainer

    Instructions
     

    • Put tea bags, 2 tsp of orange zest, cinnamon, vanilla, cloves and boiling water in a large heat-resistant pot. Let stand for 10 minutes to infuse.
    • Strain 1/2 of the tea mixture through a fine sieve into an 8-hole ice cube tray. Put in the freezer for 6 hours until frozen. Put the remaining tea mixture in the refrigerator to chill.
    • Add the remaining tea mixture to the strainer and discard the solids. Pour the mixture to the highball glasses. Squeeze in the orange juice and add ice cubes. Sugar-free sprite on the top. Add lemon slices, orange slices and a dash of bitter, if using.
